Berlin's 2027 AI calendar is not one conversation repeated six times. A translator, an industrial machine-learning researcher, a hospital executive and a biotech investor could all attend an AI event here and never enter the same room.
That variety is the opportunity. I would choose by the decision you need to make after the event, not by the loudest marketing claim. Here are six Berlin events with clearly different jobs.
1. Prompting the Future – Sprachexpertise neu denken

Prompting the Future asks what language expertise means when machines translate, interpret and generate text. Its programme connects prompting, language technology and terminology with practical questions about copyright, confidentiality, bias, hallucinations and quality assurance.
I would prioritise it for translators, interpreters, localisation leaders, linguists and researchers working with multilingual AI. Workshops make it more useful than a generic generative-AI keynote, but the specialism is also the limitation: software teams without a language problem will find stronger options elsewhere. The conference language is German.
2. ML4CPS 2027

Machine Learning for Cyber-Physical Systems is the technical research choice on this list. The conference covers predictive maintenance, fault diagnosis, self-optimisation, time-series foundation models, agentic systems, Green AI and the difficult move from simulation to real machinery.
Researchers and industrial engineers should choose ML4CPS when models must interact with sensors, equipment or changing physical environments. Papers undergo peer review, so this is a better fit for presenting methods than shopping for software. I selected it over the defence-specific companion conference because ML4CPS serves a broader professional audience.
3. Smart Health Europe 2027

Smart Health Europe combines a congress, trade show and networking programme around healthcare digitalisation. AI in diagnostics and care sits beside health data, interoperability, telemedicine, privacy, regulation and the operational systems needed to make digital services work.
Hospital leaders, health-data teams, clinicians responsible for technology and digital-health vendors should attend with one implementation barrier to investigate. Compared with a pure AI conference, you will sacrifice some algorithmic depth but gain contact with buyers, users, policymakers and the constraints that decide whether a healthcare tool reaches practice.
4. Rise of AI Conference 2027
12 MAY 2027 | BERLIN + ONLINE
Rise of AI is the strategic Berlin choice. Its scope includes technological sovereignty, trusted infrastructure, industrial adoption, regulation, competitiveness and generative AI, connecting business, research, investment and European policy.
I would send founders, investors, AI leaders and senior public-policy or enterprise decision-makers who need to understand where Europe's AI ecosystem is moving. Do not expect the narrow technical focus of ML4CPS. The return here comes from relationships, market context and better strategic questions, with hybrid access available if travel is not justified.
5. Intelligent Automation Summit Europe 2027
21-22 JUNE 2027 | TITANIC CHAUSSEE BERLIN
This summit focuses on AI-enabled business-process automation and intelligent process automation. The useful question is not whether AI can automate a task, but where automation survives messy workflows, legacy systems, compliance requirements and human escalation.
Operations leaders, automation architects, shared-services teams and enterprise transformation managers are the natural audience. I would arrive with a process map and a measurable bottleneck. That preparation makes it easier to separate a transferable operating lesson from a polished vendor story.
6. bio:cap 2027
29-30 JUNE 2027 | BERLIN EXHIBITION GROUNDS
bio:cap is an investival connecting biotechnology and artificial intelligence with capital, industry, science and research. It is the most commercially focused specialist event here for teams working where computational methods meet life sciences.
Biotech founders, biomedical AI researchers, corporate innovation teams and investors should choose it when financing or partnership is the next constraint. A strong technical result alone will not carry the conversation. I would prepare a credible validation path, data-access story and explanation of how the product fits a clinical or industrial workflow.
Which Berlin AI event would I choose for you?
PhD students and research engineers should begin with ML4CPS if their work touches industrial or physical systems. Language researchers and professional linguists should choose Prompting the Future, while biomedical researchers with a financing or commercialisation goal should examine bio:cap.
Senior AI leaders and founders will probably gain more from Rise of AI. Healthcare executives should prioritise Smart Health Europe, and process owners trying to scale automation should choose Intelligent Automation Summit Europe. A specialist event wins when your problem is normal to everyone in the room.
