Paris has an AI event for almost every professional in 2027. That is useful, but it creates a trap: the biggest event is not automatically the right event for you.
I would choose by the decision waiting on your desk. Do you need to secure AI systems, govern hospital deployment, publish research, modernise a factory or meet investors? These seven Paris events lead to very different conversations.
1. Cyber-IA Expo 2027

Cyber-IA Expo sits where artificial intelligence meets cybersecurity. Its focus on regulation, infrastructure security and operational decisions makes it the most targeted option here for CISOs, security architects, risk leaders and public-sector technology teams.
I would bring one real threat model or governance dispute and use the day to test it. If you want deep machine-learning research, look elsewhere; this room is about protecting organisations while AI changes both attacks and defences. The event is conducted in French.
2. CNSIH 2027
4-5 FEBRUARY 2027 | 52 RUE DE LA VICTOIRE, PARIS
CNSIH is built for hospital information-system teams, not a general AI crowd. The programme connects AI deployment, generative-AI use cases and project governance with the less glamorous realities of infrastructure, cybersecurity, budgets and change management.
Hospital CIOs, digital-health leaders and technical teams should favour it when the question is how to move from pilot to dependable service. I would choose CNSIH over a broad summit if clinical operations, sensitive data and institutional constraints shape every technology decision. It is a French-language event.
3. Data & AI Sovereignty Summit 2027
25 FEBRUARY 2027 | PATHÉ PALACE, PARIS
This summit tackles a strategic European question: who controls the data, infrastructure and models behind production AI? Topics include sovereign architectures, governance, open source, LLM operations and AI agents.
I would send data-platform leaders, architects, regulated organisations and public-sector decision-makers who are choosing what to build, buy or host. Compared with Cyber-IA Expo, the centre of gravity is architecture and technological control rather than security operations. The working language is French.
4. ICAID 2027
17-19 MARCH 2027 | PARIS, FRANCE
The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering brings machine learning, deep learning, data mining and intelligent systems into the same English-language programme. That combination matters because a strong model still depends on reliable data engineering.
PhD students, academic researchers and research-oriented engineers should compare ICAID with IEEE ISIE later in the year. Choose ICAID for AI and data methods; choose ISIE when your work is tied to industrial electronics, physical systems or factory automation.
5. Tech For Industry Show 2027
19-20 MAY 2027 | PARIS EXPO, HALL 7.1
Tech For Industry Show puts AI beside automation, robotics and industrial data. This is a trade-show environment, so the value lies in demonstrations, supplier comparisons and conversations about autonomous factories rather than a purely academic programme.
Plant managers, operations leaders, integrators and industrial AI vendors should arrive with a defined process to improve. Ask how a solution handles integration, maintenance and failure, not only what the demo can do. French will be the main working language.
6. IEEE ISIE 2027
30 JUNE-3 JULY 2027 | SORBONNE UNIVERSITY, PARIS
IEEE's International Symposium on Industrial Electronics is broader than AI, and that is its advantage. Its AI and data-driven industry theme sits beside robotics, control, sensors, energy systems, digital twins, predictive maintenance and factory automation.
I would prioritise ISIE for researchers and senior engineers whose algorithms must work with machines, energy systems or cyber-physical infrastructure. It offers stronger technical depth than a trade show, but it is less suitable if your main goal is rapid vendor discovery or investor access. The conference language is English.
7. RAISE Summit 2027
6-8 JULY 2027 | PALAIS DES CONGRÈS, PARIS
RAISE is the large, business-heavy finale to this Paris shortlist. It brings AI leaders, founders, investors, enterprise buyers and policymakers together around adoption, infrastructure, strategy and measurable returns.
Choose it when partnerships, funding, market intelligence or executive alignment matter more than a narrow technical track. The scale creates opportunity, but also noise. I would book meetings before arriving and define the three people or organisations you most need to meet.
Which Paris AI event would I choose for you?
For PhD students and research engineers, I would start with ICAID for AI and data engineering or ISIE for industrial systems. Factory teams should pair ISIE's technical depth with Tech For Industry Show's supplier access, but only if they can turn both visits into one concrete pilot or purchasing decision.
For hospital technology leaders, CNSIH is the obvious specialist choice. Security and risk leaders should pick Cyber-IA Expo, while platform architects and regulated organisations should compare it with the Data & AI Sovereignty Summit. Founders, investors and C-suite leaders will probably extract more value from RAISE.
