The AI calendar of Visegrad countries does not revolve around one capital or one kind of professional. Warsaw is asking how agents reach production, Prague mixes practical machine learning with experimental research, Budapest connects AI to data and business decisions, and Slovakia takes it into control rooms and power systems.
That variety is useful only if you choose by problem rather than prestige. I have shortlisted two events in each Visegrad country: Poland, Czechia, Hungary and Slovakia. Based on my analysis in this blog post you will be able to choose the room you will enter and the people that you want to meet to make your business trip worthwhile.

1. AI Context Warsaw 2027: move agents from demo to production
23–24 FEBRUARY 2027 | PGE NARODOWY, WARSAW, POLAND
AI Context Warsaw is the most focused engineering event on this list. Its subject is agentic AI and the Model Context Protocol, with attention on orchestration, enterprise architecture and the work required to turn an impressive prototype into a dependable system.
I would send AI platform engineers, architects and CTOs who already have an agent use case. Bring a diagram of your tool permissions, context flow and failure handling; you will get more value from comparing architectures than from collecting another set of agent demos.

2. Machine Learning Prague 2027: the practical all-rounder
3–5 MAY 2027 | O2 UNIVERSUM, PRAGUE, CZECHIA & ONLINE
Machine Learning Prague combines applied talks, hands-on workshops and business and academic perspectives in a three-day hybrid format. Compared with Warsaw's narrow agentic focus, Prague gives you more room to move across generative AI, deep learning and practical ML applications.
This is my strongest general recommendation for data scientists and ML engineers who want techniques they can test quickly. Choose a workshop around a live bottleneck, bring a representative dataset if permitted, and leave with one experiment scheduled rather than ten ideas waiting in your notes.

3. Budapest Data+AI Forum 2027: fix the foundations
10–12 MAY 2027 | DANUBIUS HOTEL HELIA, BUDAPEST, HUNGARY & ONLINE
Budapest Data+AI Forum places AI beside data architecture, governance, integration, observability and quality. The first two days are in person and the final day is online, which makes it a better fit than a pure model conference when unreliable pipelines are limiting your AI programme.
I would prioritise it for data engineers, analytics leaders and ML platform teams. Map one model back to its sources before you attend, then ask speakers where lineage breaks, how quality is monitored and which parts of the stack their organisation deliberately keeps simple.

4. Process Control 2027: machine learning with consequences
1–4 JUNE 2027 | ŠTRBSKÉ PLESO, SLOVAKIA
Slovakia's International Conference on Process Control covers machine learning and control, intelligent control systems, optimisation and industrial automation. Here, a model is valuable only when it behaves inside a physical process with delays, constraints, sensors and operators.
Control researchers, chemical and manufacturing engineers and industrial PhD students should look closely. I would bring a case where prediction accuracy did not translate into better control, because the useful discussion will be about stability, interpretability and the cost of a wrong action.

5. ICAISC 2027: the broad research conference
20–24 JUNE 2027 | BACHLEDA HOTEL KASPROWY, ZAKOPANE, POLAND
ICAISC is the research-heavy Polish option, with keynotes, tutorials and peer-reviewed papers across artificial intelligence and soft computing. Its scope includes machine learning, generative AI, language processing, computer vision, explainable AI, multi-agent systems and robotics.
PhD students and academic researchers should compare it with Machine Learning Prague carefully. Choose ICAISC when publication, technical feedback and research breadth matter most; choose Prague when practical workshops and immediate application carry more weight.
6. ALIFE 2027: when intelligence is not just a model
19–23 JULY 2027 | DEJVICE CAMPUS, PRAGUE, CZECHIA
ALIFE brings researchers, artists, educators and practitioners together around artificial life, complex systems and the creative study of living and life-like behaviour. It is the most intellectually unusual event here and the least suitable for someone seeking a conventional enterprise AI playbook.
I would choose it if your work touches evolutionary computation, collective behaviour, synthetic biology, embodied intelligence or open-ended systems. Arrive ready to explain your problem outside your home discipline; the value is likely to come from a connection you would not make at a standard ML conference.

7. ELEKTROENERGETIKA 2027: AI inside the power system
8–10 SEPTEMBER 2027 | STARÁ LESNÁ, SLOVAKIA
ELEKTROENERGETIKA applies AI, machine learning, predictive analytics and digital twins to electrical power engineering. The programme also reaches into smart grids, storage, grid resilience, cybersecurity and Industry 4.0, so the domain context is much stronger than at a general AI summit.
Utility engineers, energy researchers and infrastructure planners should favour this event over a broad technology conference. Ask how a proposed model handles rare failures, changing grid conditions and operator intervention; average performance is not enough for critical infrastructure.

8. AI Summit Budapest 2027: the leadership conversation
9–10 SEPTEMBER 2027 | VÁROSLIGET, BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
AI Summit Budapest is the broad business and technology meeting in this shortlist, designed for developers, company leaders and organisations deciding how AI changes their strategy. Expect a wider conversation about autonomy, governance, infrastructure, investment and responsible adoption rather than the concentrated technical depth of ICAISC or Process Control.
Executives, product leaders and founders should use it to test priorities and build regional relationships. The event uses Hungarian and English, so inspect the programme session by session if you rely on English; a strong topic is not useful if you cannot follow the discussion.

How I would build your Visegrad AI calendar
For production AI, pair one horizontal event with one domain event. An agent engineer might combine AI Context Warsaw with Budapest Data+AI Forum, while an industrial team could pair Machine Learning Prague with Process Control to connect methods with operational constraints.
Researchers should choose by the community that can improve the paper. ICAISC offers broad AI and soft-computing coverage, ALIFE rewards interdisciplinary work, Process Control suits industrial methods, and ELEKTROENERGETIKA is the better room for power-system applications.
AI Summit Budapest overlaps with ELEKTROENERGETIKA on 9–10 September, so you cannot treat both as a casual double booking. Choose Budapest for leadership, policy and partnerships; choose Stará Lesná for technical energy conversations and a specialist research audience.
If you want to compare this regional route with a wider calendar, read my guide to the top AI events in Europe for 2027. I would still favour the Visegrad event with the clearest audience fit over a larger conference that only offers a bigger crowd.
Which event belongs on your calendar?
ML engineers should start with Machine Learning Prague, data-platform teams with Budapest Data+AI Forum and agent builders with AI Context Warsaw. PhD students should compare ICAISC, ALIFE and the two Slovak specialist conferences against their precise research question and publication goals.
Senior executives and founders will probably extract more value from AI Summit Budapest than from a paper-led meeting. Energy and control professionals should resist that broad appeal and stay with the specialist event where attendees understand their safety, infrastructure and regulatory constraints.
Whatever you choose, define one result before booking: a collaborator, an architecture decision, a supplier shortlist or feedback on a paper. The best event is the one that can change your next piece of work, not the one that produces the fullest badge collection.
Did you not find the event you were looking for?
Search by your technical problem, professional role and preferred country, then verify the latest programme, language and submission deadlines with the organiser. A focused regional event can outperform a global expo when the right peers are in the room.
